Charles Uhl, 43 Grand court, met his brother, residing at Elk, Wyo., after the two had been separated for a period of 42 years at a reunion of the family at Dixon, Ill., last week.
Mr. Uhl has just been returned here, after the family reunion. The brother in Wyoming had gone to the West as a young man and took up a claim.

CHARLES GRANT UHL, 76, resident of Dempsey hotel, did Sunday a 2:50 p.m. at Mercy hospital following an illness of a month. The body was removed to Hill & Fredericks mortuary pending funeral arrangements.
Mr. Uhl was born in Dixon, Ill., Jan. 13, 1869 and grew to manhood there and attended the Dixon schools. He was united in marriage to Miss Mollie Haag of Rock Island, May 28, 1894. She preceded him in death Jan. 15, 1943. The couple resided in Dixon for a short time and moved to Davenport in 1904 where Mr. Uhl following his trade as carpenter. They later moved to Sterling, Ill., but returned to Davenport in 1941.
He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church and of A. O. U. W. lodge No. 231 of Iowa.
He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Carl Jacobson of Los Angeles and three sons, Harry W., of Davenport, Jon Lester of Massillon, O., and Floyd D. of Warn Robin Camp, Ga.; one brother, Silas W. Uhl of University City, Mo, and seven grandchildren. One son died May 6, 1941.
