Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. His funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Joe Stone and the Rev. Jeff Newton officiating. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Watson was a Colbert County native and a member of Valdosta Baptist Church.
He was retired from Reynolds Alloys and was preceded in death by his wife, Etherlora Watson.
Survivors include his son, Fay Watson and wife, Una, of Tuscumbia; daughter, Kathleen Dunn and husband, John, of Westover, Ala.; brother, Cecil Watson, of Florence; five grandchildren, Philip Watson, Amanda Baker, Allen Dunn, Wesley Dunn, Elizabeth Dunn; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Philip Watson, Gary Baker, Allen Dunn, Wesley Dunn, Danny Watson and Bobby Stanfield.
Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia, is directing.
