Reinterred at Monocacy Cemetery on Sept. 18, 1935 from Pooles Tract, Dickerson. In this grave are 3 Dixon family members; Calvin Sylvester Dixon, Ann Rebecca Dixon Studebaker, and Simon Dixon. All had been buried at the Mt. Pleasant M.E. Church Cemetery on the Pooles Tract Cemetery outside of Dickerson, Md. They where buried next to the road and the soil had eroded, leaving the caskets exposed. The remains were exhumed and brought to Monocacy Cemetery.
