May Corley Fulmer Watsaon celebrated life from May 8, 1915, until April 22, 2011. For 95 years we were blessed to love and know her. May was a force of nature that had a loving heart.

May Corley was born in Columbia to the late Clarence Corly and Lydia Brock Corley. May, the oldest of eight children, was a twin and the last to remain as long as she did to celebrate her life. She was a member of Shandon Baptist Church and the Joy Sunday School Class. She served with many Columbia area senior citizens groups. May held offices in the local, state and national chapters of the Order of the Eastern Star, Amaranth, Daughters of the Nile, Daughters of America, V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary and The White Shrine. She and her sisters, "The Corley Sisters," sang at a variety of functions for many years around Columbia.

Surviving were her daughters, Edna Louise Warren (Billy R.) of West Columbia and Betty Lawler (Mickey) of Columbia; son, Philip Fulmer (Charmaine) of Columbia; grandchildren, Eva and Ray Warren, Brian and Jeff Lawler.

She was predeceased by her first husband, P.A. Fulmer; second husband, John E. Watson; sisters, Jemima McMahon, Edna Hill Roberts; brothers, C.D. and Edwin "Buddy" Corley.
