***Nadine C. Minor, 85, died late Wednesday in Ball Hospital following an extended illness. Born near Albany, she was the daughter of Walter and Winifred Cline DePoy. She graduated from Albany High School and had lived most of her life on a farm that had been owned by her family since 1832. For a time she worked in Pittenger Student Center of Ball State University until retiring in 1954. She attended Albany United Methodist Church and was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution, Paul Revere Chapter.
Survivors are her daughter, Elaine Bennett, Washington, DC; a son, Roger K. Bennett, Albany; two grandchildren, Alan Bennett, Albany, and Cheryl Gray, Muncie; 2 great-grandchildren, and three cousins. Another son, Brian M. Minor, died in 1981.
Services will be at 11:30 am Saturday in Meeks Mortuary Chapel. Cremation will follow. Friends may call at the mortuary from 6-8 pm Friday or prior to services Saturday.
