***Morris C. Minor, 71, died Tuesday at the family farm near Albany following an illness of six months. He was born in Hammond, came to Muncie as a child with his family and had been associated with Fab Tec Construction Company for several years. Mr. Minor was a 35 year member of Carpenters Local 1016.
Surviving are his wife, Nadine (DePoy) Minor; his son, Brian Minor, a member of the Ball State University music faculty; his step-daughter, Elaine Bennett, Washington, DC; his step-son, Roger Keith Bennett, Albany; two step-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Maxine Jasper, Eaton, OH.
Graveside services for interment of the cremated remains will be held at Godlove Cemetery at 11:00 am Friday with Rev. Richard Langhinrichs, pastor of the Fort Wayne Unitarian Congregation, officiating. A memorial concert will be given later.
Friends may call at the Meeks Mortuary 7-9 pm Wednesday and 3-5 pm Thursday. Memorials may be sent to the cancer fund.
