BETHANY- Mrs. Prentiss Carlyle passed away Monday at her home here following a long illness. She was born March 2, 1885, in Harper, Kansas, and was six years old when her family moved to Bethany, where she has since lived. Her maiden name was Loyett Roney. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 at the Bethany Christian church. Interment was in the Bethany Cemetery. (1943).
