Erin was born in Halifax on Nov. 1, 1994. She has lived in Cole Harbour throughout her life and was a student at Auburn Drive High School.
Erin was a friend to all she met, with an infectious smile and an enormous heart. Her goal was to find something to smile about every day and live life in the moment.
Erin has been living with cancer since 2007 and she never let the disease define who she was. She enjoyed camping with her family and friends in P.E.I. every summer and she was inseparable from her best friend, her mom. She had a unified and wonderful group of close friends that walked beside her in the last months of her battle, their love and support kept her strong.
She is survived by her mother, Karen, father, Phillip and her brother, Sam; grandmothers, Marion Blundon, New Waterford, Martha Blondeau, Sydney, and special grandmother, Sandra Sellars, Toronto; and by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was predeceased by her grandfathers, Stan Blundon and Jules Blondeau.
Friends may call at the Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main St., Dartmouth, Wednesday and Thursday from 6-9 p.m. A funeral service will held in the chapel at 10 a.m., Friday morning. Reception to follow in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the IWK, or to any branch of Scotiabank for special account "In trust for Erin Blondeau."
