COLE, Rhoda B. age 79, of Hamilton, died at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Tuesday, April 26, 2011. She was born in Henry County, Kentucky, on October 7, 1931, the daughter of the late Cola and Effie (Hutchison) Bowman. She graduated with the Connersville High School Class of 1947 in Connersville, Kentucky. In Cincinnati on August 30, 1952, Rhoda married her husband of over 40 years, Ray Cole, and he preceded her in death on February 26, 1993. She was a member of the Westwood Presbyterian Church.
Rhoda is survived by her daughter, Cindy Cole of Hamilton; two sons, Steve (Lori) Cole of Goldsboro, North Carolina and Mike (Jamie) Cole of Alpharetta, Georgia; grandson, Jack Cole; brothers and sister, Perry (Mildred) Bowman of Lexington, Kentucky, Margaret King of Crystal River, Florida and Frank (Mary Ann) Bowman of San Bernardino, California; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Rhoda was also preceded in death by six sisters and brothers, Katherine Petticrew, Melvin Bowman, Virginia Mueller, Pauline Hinton, Floyd Bowman and Lillian Barnes.
Family and friends will be received at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South "D" Street, Hamilton. Funeral services at Westwood Presbyterian Church, 1068 Stahlheber Road, Hamilton, OH 45013 with Rev. Joshua Long officiating. Interment will follow at Millville Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions to Westwood Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund.
