PAXTON -- Funeral Services for Paul E. "Unk" Cleary, 83, of rural Ludlow, will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at Ford-Baier Funeral home in Paxton, the Rev Francis Maher officiating.
Burial will be in holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Rantoul, IL.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. today (Oct 17, 1985) at the funeral home. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
Mr. Cleary died at 5:05 p.m. Tuesday (Oct 15, 1985) at Paxton Community Hospital.
He was born Oct 31. 1901, in rural Ludlow a son of James and Mary Kirk Cleary.
Survivors include one sister, Florence Duffin of Urbana; three nephews; Gene Duffin or Paxton, John Duffin of Urbana and Paul Duffin of Deerfield, FL; one niece, Madeline Frances of Taylorville; one great nephew, Tim Duffin, who lived with Mr. Cleary the past eight years; four other great nephews; and five great nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and one nephew.
Mr Cleary was born and lived his entire life in rural Ludlow, where he farmed. He attended the Wesslund Park Country School and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Paxton.
