W.O. WIGGINTON DIES IN COUNTY
Retired Farmer Succumbs At Age Of 73, At Home In Stamping Ground.
W.O. Wigginton, 73 retired farmer, died Tuesday morning at 3:00 o'clock at his home in Stamping Ground. Mr. Wigginton, a prominent Scott County land-owner, had been ill for the past two months.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Rosa Wigginton, two sons, Parker and Sandford Wigginton, both of Stamping Ground; four daughters,Mrs. Holly Duvall, Miss Cecil Wigginton, ,Miss Alice Kate Wigginton, and Mrs. Jewell Lancaster, all of Stamping Ground, and several grandchildren.
The body was moved to the Cassity and Son Funeral home in Stamping Ground.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2;00 o'clock at the Stamping Ground Christian church with the Rev. Lowell Bryant officiating assisted by the Rev. D.C. Troxell, of Lexington. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery.
