Mrs. G.G.Hockensmith

Mrs. Alice Wiggington Hockensmith, 63, wife of C.G. Hockensmith, died at 3:30 p.m.Thursday at John Graves Ford Memorial Hospital from a cerebral hemorrhage. She was a native of Scott County and a member of the Stamping Ground Christian Church.
Other survivors include three sisters, Mrs.Cecil Bolson, Mrs. H.W. Duvall and Mrs. Jewell Lancaster,Scott County; two brothers, Parker and Sanford Wiggington, Scott County; two step-children, Mrs. Mary Emily Matthews, Frankfort and C.G. Hockensmith Jr., Knoxville, Tenn., and several nieces and nephews.
Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Cassity Funeral Home by Rev. Howard Stark and Rev. Dennis Smith.
Burial was in the Masonic Cemetery. Bearers were Bradford Perry, W.L. Cook, B.L. Wiley, James McLaughlin, E.T. Breen, and John M. Hall. Honorary bearers were George Gaines, G.W. Lancaster, T.K.Shuff, J.C. McKnight, Clarence Yates, Raymond Murphy, Forest Easley and Ora Castle.
