Frank Santspree, a native of Whitehall, but a resident of this city most of his life, died yesterday at his home,110 Central Ave, after a brief illness. Mr. Santspree for many years conducted an Ice Cream & Confectionery business at Main & Howard St.
He retired several years ago. He was a member of St. Joseph's Church. Survivors are his widow the former Miss Malinda Chagnon, 2 daughters, Mrs. Edward J. Austin of New York, Mrs. Edward Marois of Green Island, 2 Sons, Arthur F. and Andrew H. of this city,3 Sisters, Mrs. Hormidas LaFerriere, Mrs. Charles Surprenant of Cohoes and Mrs. Godfrey Collun of Green Island. A brother John Santspree of Cohoes.
The funeral will be held from the home tomorrow at 9 ;30 am, at 10 am a Solum requiem mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph's and burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Waterford, N. Y.


A son of Hypolite and Arzilise (Mary) Forand Santspree, Jr.
On August 02, 1893 in St. Joseph's Church, Cohoes, he married Malinda Evelyn Chagnon. Together they conducted an Ice Cream & Confectionery business at Main & Howard St. for many years.
