Robert N. "Bob" Hyatt, age 76, of Wilson Avenue, Cynthiana, Kentucky, died Wednesday, July 6, 2005, at his residence. Born in Rowan County, Kentucky, on April 12, 1929, to the late Menn and Lucy McKee Hyatt, he was a retired business owner.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by: a stepdaughter, Jona Helvey; and two sisters, Elsie Hyatt and Thelma Hyatt Graham. He was survived by: his wife, Helen R. Morris Hyatt; three sons, Robert Nelson "Bobby" (Sandra) Hyatt, Jr., of Morehead, Mike Hyatt, of Langley, Virginia, and Keith (Shirley) Hyatt, of Columbus, Ohio; two stepsons, Terry Whalen and Greg (Linda) Whalen, both of Cynthiana; a brother, Bill (Violet) Hyatt, of Elizaville; a sister, Gusie (John) Masters, of Mays Lick; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and a step-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Friday at Ware Funeral Home by Bro. Howard Livingood. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday at Elizaville Cemetery, in Fleming County. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Elmarch United Methodist Church.
