Alfred Williams, 94, a lifetime resident of Malakoff, was born on July 1, 1916 in Athens to the late L.J. "Pat" and Annie Barr Williams. He passed away on April 23, in Malakoff.
He served our country in the U.S. Army from 1941 to 1945. He was a bricklayer and rancher.
He is survived by two daughters: Nancy Cavanaugh and husband Bill of Rowlett, Kay Bonner of Garland, sister, LaVerne "Mutt" Rodgers and husband Raymond of Malakoff.
He is preceded in death by his wife Margaret Venable Williams, parents L.J. "Pat" and Annie Williams, brothers G.T. and T.C. Williams, stepson Glynn Venable and stepdaughter Martha Townley.
