Naturalized 19 Sept 1878, New York

William Schluntz passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. C.J. Buddenhagen at 602 Iowa Street on Wednesday morning about nine o'clock following an illness of some time. Mr. Buddenhagen [sic] was seventy-eight years of age. He had made
his home with his daughter here for some time, and was known by many in this city and in the community.

Funeral services will be held at the Buddenhagen home here Friday afternoon at two o'clock, and from the Lutheran church in Afton township, near Aurelia, and interment will be in the Afton cemetery. An obituary will be given next week.
