Jacob Beery was born in Rockingham Co., Va., late in the year 1766, and died near McCutchenville, Wyandot county, Ohio, Feb. 12, 1842. He married Nancy *Geil (not Kyle), of German ancestry, in 1795. She was born in Pennsylvania in April, 1775, and died Nov. 9, 1850. Both are buried in the Bibler Cemetery near McCutchenville, Wyandot co., Ohio.
