Dorothy Dianne Day, 70, of Nashville, died Saturday, April 23, 2011, at South Georgia Medical Center.

She was born Feb. 26, 1941, in Russell County, Ala., to the late Ottis Bill Garrison and the late Donie East Garrison. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Bobby Joe "Smokey" Day of Nashville; a daughter, Elizabeth "Missy" (Scott) Keith of Nashville; a son, Joe Bob (Ronda) Day of Ray City; a brother, Norman Garrison of Phenix City, Ala.; eight grandchildren, Chinna Addison, Dracey Keith, Rachel Keith, Karrie Day, Kaylee Day, Melissa Dillard, Stanley Rudeseal and Victoria Rudeseal.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Dianne Rudeseal; two sisters and two brothers.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2011, in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Vernon Hughes. Interment will follow in Long Bridge Cemetery.
