Mary L. Potter
Mary L. (Rena) Potter, 83, of Burton, died Friday, April 10, 1987 at Mercy Hospital in Dubuque.
Daughter of Robinson (Robert) and Cassinda (Updike) Standorf, she was born Dec, 21, 1903. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde, in 1967, and by a granddaughter, Bonnie Brinkman, in 1983.
Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. LaVetta Hixson of Prairie du Chein, Mrs. Lavonne Fortner of Alexandria, VA, Mrs. Keith (Virginia) Miles of Cassville, Wanda Gansemer and Mrs. Warren (Jean) Buss, both of Potosi, a son, Robert, of Holy Cross, IA, 22 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Esther Ablieter of Chicago.
