Millinocket - Ellen L. Cyr, wife of Paul Cyr, died October 26, 2008, at a Millinocket hospital. She was born March 21, 1960, in Lincoln, the daughter of Edward "Honey" and Madeline (Albert) Barker. Ellen worked various jobs throughout her life. She enjoyed working construction and more recently, for Bragdon Energy. She lived life to the fullest and loved snowsledding, hiking, camping, being at camp, barbeques with family and friends and going on "'Rip rides". Ellen also enjoyed cooking and decorating during the holidays.
In addition to her husband, Paul, of Millinocket, she is survived by a son, Louis "Matt" Cousins, of Dallas, Texas; siblings, Sharon Albert, Mary Jean Twist, Francine McQuinn, Carroll-Ann Armstrong and Danny Barker;special nephew, Jeff Albert and his family; several nieces and nephews and many special, close friends.
