KUTTAWA, KY - Mrs. Reva King, 99, of Kuttawa, formerly of Madisonville and Murray, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2011 at Caldwell County Medical Center in Princeton.

Mrs. King was a retired registered nurse with over 50 years service from the state of Illinois. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Murray and attended the First Baptist Church of Kuttawa.

Mrs. King is survived by two sons, Harold E. King of Madisonville and Philip L. King of Clearwater, FL; one daughter, Ruth M. Byrd of Clearwater, FL; seven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Earl H. King; one grandson, Rusty D. King,; one granddaughter, Bambi L. King; three brothers, Roscoe, Obel and Ray Thomas; three sisters, Eula Peas, Dorothy Cunningham and Helen Whittaker.. Her parents were Charles Thomas and Ollie Gallegar Thomas.

A private family memorial service will be held with Rev. Carl Nelson officiating.

Interment will be at a later date in the mausoleum at Greenwood Memorial Park and Mortuary in San Diego.
