Obit-Punxsutawney Spirit William T. Alabran, 76, a lifelong resident of Smicksburg R.D., died Tuesday after several months illness in the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Walker, of Marion Center R.D.2. The deceased was a son of Fulbert and Caroline Winebark Alabran and was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren Church. His wife was the former Martha Cochran, died in 1946. In addition to Mrs. Walker, he is survived by another daughter, Mrs. William Behme, of Rural Valley R.D.; four sons, Fulbert and Wayne, of Greenville, and Frank and William, of Smicksburg R.D.; 29 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, a brother, John, of Philadelphia, and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Blose, of Indiana, and Mrs. Annie Stiver
er, of Clymer. Friends will be received in the Walker home, where services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The Rev. Leonard Pearson will officiate and interment will be in the Marchand Cemetery.
