Margaret Mary Myers, the daughter of Ralph and Ethel (Strickland) Briggs, was born on December 31, 1924 at Havelock, Nebraska. She passed away on April 21, 2011 at Brodstone Memorial Hospital in Superior, Nebraska at the age of 86 years, 3 months and 20 days.
Margaret attended school in Rosemound, South of Hardy, Nebraska. She was a 41 year member of Centennial Lutheran Church in Superior.
On January 10, 1945 in Belleville, Kansas she was married to Loren Myers. This union was blessed with 9 children.
Margaret loved to collect angels, feeding birds, and in her spare time she did embroidery work. Her pastime was spent visiting with family and friends. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary, Mankato, Kansas, Helping Hand Club and the Eagles Auxiliary Club in Superior.
Margaret entered the Good Samaritan Society in March of 2011 due to her health.
She is preceded in death by parents; husband Loren on October 6, 1985; 2 daughters, Jan and Janice; 2 sons, Everett and John and 1 sister, Alta Faye Roper.
