Leonard Wisdom, 84, of Easton and formally of Sabetha died on April 23, 2011 at his son's home in Easton. He was born on September 14, 1926 the son of Jesse B. Wisdom and Emily Elizabeth (Lizzie) Wisdom at Bern, Kansas. He was one of three children born to this union. He attended school in the Bern area. He was united in marriage to Joyceln Ann Cavender on September 14, 1952. They later divorced. He was united in marriage to Velma Mae Frakes in 1959. Two sons were born to this union. They later divorced.
Leonard was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Irvin J. Wisdom on October 23, 1999; one sister, Neoma Eichenberger on April 7, 2009; a granddaughter, Jessica Lee Wisdom on May 29, 1991. He is survived by two sons, Rick Wisdom of Easton, Kansas and Michael Wisdom of Leavenworth, Kansas and 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Popkess Mortuary Chapel in Sabetha. A visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to service time at the funeral home. The interment will be made in the Seneca Cemetery.
