Obituary
Emma Christena Franke was born December 12, 1880, and died at the home of her parents, July 22, 1912. She united with the Christian church at Millport during Brother Munion's ministerial service. She had lived a constant Christian life. Her sickness was borne with the greatest Christian fortitude. Her suffering was intense throughout her entire sickness, yet she bore it with patience. She leaves to mourn her death a father, mother, five sisters, five brothers and a host of friends and relatives.

Miss Emma C., daughter of August and Christena Frnake, living six miles southeast of Rutledge, died Monday night at 12 o'clock of typhoid fever, after an illness of about three weeks. Deceased was the third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Franke and was about thirty-two years of age. The funeral was held at the Millport Christian church Wednesday morning conducted by Rev. Ferguson, the burial being made in the Millport cemetery.
