Mary and Adam moved to Rensselaer County, New York. Adam died on June 2, 1804 and is buried in Maple Grove Old Cemetery, Hoosick Falls, Rensselaer County, New York.

Adam wrote his will on February 3, 1804, in Hoosicks, Rensselaer, New York. It was recorded on June 11. The executor was John Courstock. The witnesses were John Comstock; Cyrus Comstock and Timothy Graves.
