Irene M. Babinski was born February 2, 1916 in Minto, ND, the daughter of the late Dominic and Gertrude Babinski. She grew up and attended school in Minto.
Following her education, she was united in marriage to Andrew Trudeau. The couple made their home in Grafton where Irene owned and operated a beauty shop. In 1962, the couple moved to Glendale, CA and Irene operated her beauty shop there. Andrew passed away in 1974.
Irene was later united in marriage to Bill Janousek and the couple made their home in Glendale, CA.
Irene is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: David (Mary) Trudeau, Ojai, CA; Dale (Susan) Trudeau, Redding, CA; Don (Carole) Trudeau, Pine Mountain, CA; and Dean Trudeau, Maine, 11 grandchildren, numerous great- grandchildren and brothers: Jack (Joan) Babinski, Idaho and Allan (JoAnne) Babinski, Minto, ND.
Irene was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, sister, Doris, and brothers: George and Leonard.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, April 8, 2011 at 10:30 A.M. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Grafton. Visitation will be Friday for one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.
