W. C. Gregory, 64, suffered a paralytic stroke last Monday evening. He died 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Battle Creek. He was survived by his wife, 1 daughter Mrs. Maude Plummer at Lander, Wyoming; 2 sons: John, Howard both at Battle Creek; 3 grandchildren. Walter C. Gregory suffered a stroke of paralysis last Monday evening. He died 10:30a.m. Saturday at his home in Battle Creek. The funeral was held Monday . He was born September 30, 1870 at Oaks, Wisconsin and he came with his parents to Norfolk in 1879. He was married on Jan. 23, 1900 to Miss Jane Gardiner of Spearfish, South Dakota. He came to Battle Creek in Oct. 1921 and operated a bakery. He was survived by his wife, 2 sons: John, Howard both at Battle Creek; 1 daughter Mrs. Maude Pulmmer at Lander, Wyoming; 2 sisters: Mrs. Minnie Gillette at Yocolt, Washington; Mrs. Roberta Fichter at Madison, 3 grandchildren.
