Deseret News, The (Salt Lake City, UT) - Monday, February 14, 2000
Our mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Beulah Ranck Jackson , age 79, passed away peacefully February 12, 2000, in Salt Lake City, just 10 days short of her 80th birthday.
She was born February 22, 1920, in Salt Lake City Utah, to Carl Peter and Abbie Stout Ranck. She married Keith L. Jackson July 31, 1947, in East Millcreek. He preceded her in death November 25, 1995
Beulah was a lifelong resident of East Millcreek and an active member of the LDS Canyon Rim 4th Ward. She and Keith co-owned Keith's Cafe in Holladay for many years. She and her husband were devoted bridge players and she enjoyed playing with her bridge club friends. She was a devoted mother and adored her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by four sons, Boyd (JoAnn) Jackson of Gillette, Wyoming; Lawny (Shirley) Jackson of Myton, Utah; Scott (Jodi) Jackson of Salt Lake City; and Lyle (Mary) Jackson of Park City; 16 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Elva, LaVern, Maudie, and Ruby. She was preceded in death by her four brothers and by one daughter-in-law, Ida.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 16, 2000, 11 a.m., at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, Salt Lake City, UT, where friends may call Tuesday, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Holbrook Mortuary and on Wednesday for one hour prior to the services. Interment, Elysian Burial Gardens.
Beulah was married twice:
1st - Milton Earl Doxford on 18 Jun 1937 in Salt Lake City UT.
2nd - Keith Leroy Jackson on 31 Jul 1947 in Salt Lake City UT.
Beulah's parents are Carl Peter Ranck & Abbie Stout.
