He was born in Hopkinton on Feb. 7, 1869, a son of John and Betsy Carpenter Weller.
He was married in 1887 to Maude Smith at Fort Jackson. She died years ago.
He lived all his life in Hopkinton and was a farmer and carpenter. He is survived by two sons; Gordon, Hopkinton; Rex, Beechertown; three grandchildren, Mrs. Vivian Kingsley, Hopkinton; Neil Weller and Mrs. Janet McClain, Beechertown. Also two great-grandchildren, Neil and Nickey McClain of Beechertown.
