MRS. NETTIE REKUS
BARING, Mo. — Services for Mrs. Nettie A. Rekus, 96, of Baring, who died Monday (May 17, 1971) at 1:25 p.m. in a nursing home in Memphis, will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edina. The Rev. Thomas| Dolan will officiate. Burial will be in the New Catholic Cemetery at Edina.
Mrs. Rekus was born in Knox| County, Sept. 19, 1874, a daughter of Henry and Jennie Morrison Lingenfelter. She was a member of the Catholic Church. She married William Frederick Rekus April 25, 1900, in Edina. He preceded her in death.
Surviving are a son, B. B. Rekus of Chicago, Ill.; two grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister .
