Mrs. Sara Catherine Bucher, 62, died at the Warner Hospital this morning at 1:45 from a complication of diseases after an illness of three months. She was admitted as a patient at the local institution on Monday. Mrs. Bucher was the wife of George McClellan Bucher, Cashtown.
She was the only daughter of the late Henry and Clara (Weikert) Deardorff, and was born and resided in the vicinity of Flohr’s church her entire life. She was married to Mr. Bucher in 1899./
Surviving are her husband, four sons, Clarence A, H Erman, Owen H and John C all at home; one stepson, Curtis, Sterling, Illinois; one step daughter, Mrs. Harry Hartzell, Cashtown, and one brother Harvey Deardorff, Philadelphia.
She as active member of Flohr’s Lutheran church and Sunday School.
Brief funeral services at the late home Sunday afternoon a 1:00 with further services at Flohr’s Lutheran church at 2:00, the Rev. George B Ely officiating. Interment in the cemetery adjoining.
