DICKINSON - Services for Thomas Earl Anders, 79, will be at 10 a.m. today at Emken-Linton Funeral Home of Texas City, the Rev. Horace G. McMillian officiating.
Burial will be at Galveston Memorial Park in Hitchcock.
Mr. Anders died Wednesday at Memorial Hospital of Galveston County in Texas City.
He was born April 25,1904 in Waco. He was a retired superintendent for Nunez Contraction Co. of Texas City and a member of First United Methodist Church of Dickinson. Mr. Anders also served in the U.S. Coast Guard.
Survivors include his wife, Vera Anders of Dickinson; two sons, Paul and Willis Anders of Florida; two daughters, Brenda of Texas City and Joyce of El Lago; two brothers, Robert Cecil Anders of La Marque and George Curtis Anders of South Houston; three sisters, Mary Putegnat of Galveston, Dorothy Ervine of Hillister and Ethal Mae Honea of Waco; and seven grandchildren.
