Jessica died at 19, after a very courageous battle with cancer (non-hodgkins). Jess graduated from Menasha High in 2000. While in school she was very active in volleyball and track. Jess also loved her animals, rocking with her headphones on and spending time with family and friends.
Jess was a student at the Universtity of WI-Green Bay and was interested in pursing a job in the health field. She worked as a certified nursing assistant at Oakridge Gardens Nursing home in Menasha, where she always brought a smile to any resident's face.
Jess was an inspiration to all the people she was able to touch in her life. She will be greatly missed by many and kept in many hearts. Yet knowing she is still right next to us can help us get through each day.
To end, a bible verse that she kept with her through her battle and a favorite poem she found, "Don't worry, because I am with you. Don't be afraid, because I am your God. I will make you strong and will help you; I will support you with my right hand that saves you...I am the LORD your God, who holds your right hand, and I tell you, Don't be afraid. I will help you"! -Isaiah 41:10,13

WHAT CANCER CANNOT DO
Cancer is so limited-
It cannot criple love
It cannot shatter hope
It cannot corrode faith
It cannot destroy peace
It cannot kill friendship
It cannot suppress memories
It cannot silence courage
It cannot invade the soul
It cannot steal eternal life
It cannot conquer the spirit. Unknown
