Louella Jenkinson
MIDDLEPORT - Mrs. Louella Jenkinson, 68, Middleport and Jacksonville, Fla., died unexpectedly Saturday evening in Baptist Hospital in Jacksonville, following a brief illness.
Born in Kingsbury, she was the daughter of the late John A. and Izetta Wise Gilliland.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed with the R.A. Miller Lumber CO. and later the Citizens National Bank in Middleport as a bookkeeper for many years. She was a member of the Middleport Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, Allen E. Jenkinson of Jacksonville and Middleport; three sisters, Mrs. George (Bertha) McKinniss of Wellston, Mrs. Emmett (Katherine) Tipton of Edgemont, Ark., and Mrs. Edward (Edna) Evans of Middleport; one brother, Terry Gilliland, of Zanesville, and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, John Hershel Gilliland.
Services will be at the Rawlings-Coats Funeral Home with George Glaze, pastor of the Middleport Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Time of services will be announced by the funeral home after arrival of the body from Florida.
