Debbie was born on May 18, 1961, in Charleston, SC, the daughter of Esther LaBruce Temple and the late Thomas Dixon Temple III.
She was a devoted mother and wife, as well as an avid equestrian. Debbie was a member of Hibben United Methodist Church in Mount Pleasant.
Survivors include her husband, Robert T. Hokum, Jr. of Awendaw, SC; two sons, Robert T. Hokum III and William LaBruce Hokum; her mother, Esther Temple of Georgetown, SC; and one brother, Thomas Dixon Temple IV of Columbia, SC.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM April 22, 2011, at Hibben United Methodist Church, Mt. Pleasant, SC. Interment will follow, at 1 PM April 23, 2011, in All Saints Parish Waccamaw Cemetery, Pawleys Island.
