Marion P. (Jack) Ray, 78, Fort Wayne, a native of Monroe and formerly of Decatur, died at 5:55 p.m. Monday at Parkview Memorial Hospital, Fort Wayne.
He was a retired Allen County Tire Co. employee in Fort Wayne, retiring after 30 years of service.
Born in Monroe on Sept. 3, 1909, he was the son of George and Laura Hahn-Ray. Survivors include the wife, Mable; one daughter, Margaret Woenkhaus, New Haven; two grandsons; and two great-granddaughters.
Services were held at 2 p.m. today at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, Fort Wayne. Burial was in Greenlawn Memorial Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Memorials are to the Allen County Cancer Society.
