DEATH: Mrs. Sarah Walter, 54 dies. Funeral services to be held on Saturday. Mrs. Sarah E. Walter 54, passed away this morning after five years illness. Mrs. Walter was the wife of Don Walter, came to McCook with her parents at the age of 17, and was married July 23, 1913. She was born in Macon, NE. In McCook Mrs. Walter was a member of the Methodist Chruch, Ladies Auxilliary of Burlington Veterans, Ladies Auxillary of the V. F. W. Goldenrod State Lodge, S. B. A. Degree Honor and the G. I. A. She is survived by her husband; Her father, John Garrett, a sister, Mrs. S. E. Swanson; two sons, Wayne A. Walter of Cheyene, Wyo; and John E. Walter of McCook; a daughter, Mrs. Gene Wolf, Fullerton, Calif; two uncles, Robert Moore, McCook and William Garrett, Haxtum Colo. and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be held in the Methodist chruch at 10 a m. Saturday with the Rev. John Michelson, Quick, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery with the Herrmann Funeral Home in Charge.
