A retired office manager, Ella M. Anders, 83, of Warren died at 5:45 pm Saturday, Oct. 19, at Heritage Park in Fort Wayne.

Mrs. Anders retired in 1987 from Hartson-Kennedy Cabinet Top Company in Marion after 26 years as the office manager. She was a 1937 graduate of Salamonie Township High School at Warren.

She was born at Warren Aug. 10, 1919, a daughter of Charles E. and Julia Williamson Griffith. Her marriage at Van Wert, Ohio, on Oct. 8, 1938 was to Roscoe W. Anders, who died Aug. 30, 1974.

Surviving are two sons, Wayne Anders of Marquand, Mo., and Bruce Anders of Marion; three daughters, Mrs. Mike (Rosemary) Shuttleworth of Hazelwood, Mo., Mrs. Ed (Cynthia) Plank of Flower Mound, Texas, and Pamela Schwieterman of Fort Wayne; 13 grand children; and six great grandchildren. A son Charles, two sisters and two brothers are deceased.

Services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Glancy Funeral Homes-H. Brown & Son Chapel in Warren, where calling hours will be Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m.

Chaplain Teresa Bucker will officiate and burial will be in Taylor Cemetery at Warren.
