Ex-Sheriff F.A. Crawford, the auctioneer and highly respected citizen of Franklin district, died on Thursday, April 27th, 1922, at a Baltimore hospital, aged about 60 years, where he was under treatment for cancer of the stomach. He was a son of the late Dr. Francis A. Crawford and the last of his family. He is survived by a widow and two sons.
Funeral from his late residence, near Winfield, on Sunday, April 30, at 1 P.M. Services and interment at Taylorsville Methodist Episcopal Church. Relatives and friends are invited.
Mr. Crawford was a former sheriff of this county and one of the best known auctioneers in this section. He had many friends in this city and county who held him in high respect.
