Reba Carroll Pruitt Baxter, 77, of 212 N. Magnolia Street, Mooresville, died Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2008, at Genesis Elder Care.
She was born in Iredell County on June 6, 1933, a daughter of the late Joe C. and Ethel H. Barrier Pruitt. Her husband, Fred Baxter, died June 14, 1988. She was a service person at Draymore.
Survivors include a son, Billy Junior Baxter and wife, Diane, of Mooresville; a daughter, Carolyn Bowers and husband, Roby, of Sherrill's Ford; a daughter, Christine Little and husband, James, of Mooresville;a sister, Jo Ann Pittman, of Mooresville; 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, at Neill Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lonny Ramsey officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Memorial Park, Mooresville. The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Neill Funeral Home, Mooresville.
