Imogene Sharpe, 72, of Rt. 3, Hillsville, died October 7, 1992, in North Carolina Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, N.C. She was born in Carroll County October 14, 1919, to George Oscar and Lydia Goad Alderman. Surviving are her husband, Dillard Sharpe; a daughter-in-law, Linda H. Sharpe of Hillsville; one granddaughter, Heather Sharpe; a brother, Bernard Alderman of Hillsville; a sister, Esther Marshall of Mt. Airy, N.C. Funeral was October 9 at 11 a.m. in Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel conducted by Elder Joe H. McGrady and the Rev. Karcha Jennings. Burial was in the Coulson Cemetery.
