Chester Floyd Lineberry, 80, of Rt 1, Hillsville, died Monday, Jan. 17,1983, inTwin County Community Hospital.
He was born in Carroll County Feb. 27,1902, to Floyd Monroe Lineberry and Caroline Coulson Lineberry.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Sadie Lineberry; two daughters, Mrs. Doris Lundy, Austinville, and Mrs. Fern McCommon, Dugspur; three granddaughters; one great-grandson and two sisters, Mrs. Cassie Quesenberry, Galax, and Mrs. Carrie Alley, New London, NC.
The funeral was held Thursday, Jan. 20, at 11 a.m. in the Coulson Church of the Brethren, with the Rev. Russell Payne and the Rev. Donald Clay officiating.
Burial was in the church cemetery.
Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home, Galax, handled arrangements.
