Mr. Lineberry was born in Carroll County Feb. 18, 1912, to Floyd Lineberry and Cara Coulson Lineberry.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Beulah Lineberry; two daughters, Mrs. Paulin Freeman, Hillsville, and Mrs. Juanita Marshall, Roanoke; three sons, Bernard Lineberry, Pfafftown, N.lC., and Carroll Lineberry and Allen Lineberry, both of Galax; three sisters, Mrs. Grace Edwards, Hillsville; Mrs. Cassie Quesenberry, Galax, and Mrs. Carrie Alley, New London, N.C.; one brother, Chester Lineberry, Hillsville; 12 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 27, at the Coulson Church of the Brethren by the Rev. Galen Wine, the Rev. Bristoe Osborne and the Rev. F. Anderson Ferguson.
Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home, Galax, was in charge of arrangements.
