She was married to Paul Freed September 5, 1875. To this union was born six children. Two have preceded her into the spirit world.
She leaves a husband, four children, Mesdames Irvin Letherman, and Charles LeFevre, of Elkhart; Alva and Flossie Freed, at home, four grandchildren, two brothers, L M Davenport, of Los Angeles, Calif, and John Davenport, of this place; two sisters, Mrs Kate Fuller, of Elkhart; and Ella Davenport, of this place; also many relatives and
friends to mourn her departure.
She has been a faithful and consistant member of the Brethren church for more than 25 years.
Her life was an example of perfect womanhood. Her ambition was to make her loved ones happy.
The funeral was held at the Dunkard church Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock. Interment at North Union.
