Elisha Moore married Mary Polly Webb, We know she died between 1852-1859 because she is not on the 1860 Census Yalobusha, Mississippi with Elisha Moore.
The 1810 census of Logan County, Kentucky has James and Mosah Webb in the county living next to Elisha Moore, he was already married to Mary Webb and their children were born in Kentucky, Tennessee, and Mississippi.
I agree with the above information, because with all my research and documentation the Henry Hardin Smith Bible has information about our grandparents. Willie D Hamilton daughter of Calvin Smith was asked questions about the information in the family Bible she said Henry Hardin Smith called Elisha Moore a hard shell Baptist Preacher, who wouldn't ever take a cent of money for his services, but gave it all to benefit of the poor in the church. In 1876 the Smith Bible was in Willie Hamilton's possession. In 2006 the Bible is in the procession of the Smith Family in Galveston, Texas, Information from Gerulus Smith's Grand-daughter who lives in Carroll County, Mississippi. There was a transcription of a tape of interviews with the three granddaughters of Edna Booth Farrington's granddaughters it was taped in 1976. A copy of the transcript was sent to me in 2002. My Smith family, came from Carroll County, Mississippi, and moved to Denton County, Texas.
