D. C. Haga Dies;
Rites Thursday
Dewey Coleman Haga, Route #5, Woodbury Road, died Tuesday at Rutherford Hospital after an illness of 6 months. He was 67 years of age.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday from Jennings & Ayers Funeral home with the Rev. Howard Davis officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Haga was born in Flatridge, Va., but had lived in Murfreesboro since 1939. He was employed by the Veterans Administration in Nashville before retirement in 1964. He was a member of Woodbuy Road Baptist Church. He was a veteran of World War I.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs Bessie Ashby Haga, Murfreesboro; one son, James H. Haga, Nashville; one daughter, Mrs. Juanita Pittard, Murfreesboro; one brother, Robert Haga, Bel-Air, Maryland; 2 sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Watson, Pylesville, Maryland, Mrs. Mary M. Parks, Sugar Grove, Va., and four grandchildren.
Friends will be active pallbearers.
