I was backtracking Laura McDonald (Kinkade) in Branch county Mi, that led me to the McCurdy family. Laura's mother was Rachel Kinkade (McCurdy).

Rachel's parents were Aaron and Sarah Morris or Morrow. They had six known children, Rachel, John Wesley, Mary (Ewing), Martha A., Thomas L. and Cynthia. Rachel died in Ohio/1911, John died in Ohio/1927, Mary in Michigan/1926 and Cythina died in 1884 and I believe she buried in this cemetery. US census buts her birth as 1866.

Aaron McCurdy died 09 Dec 1898 in Grover Hill, Latty Township, Paulding, Ohio, as a widower. I assume he was living with Rachel at the time of his death. I have not found Aaron, Sarah or Mary Ewing in FAG.

Hopefully this information will assist you in linking Rachel to her parents someday.
