Surviving are a daughter, Florence Ranly, Gahanna; two brothers, Ralph, Fort Recovery, and David, Gahanna; and a sister, Marceil Kelly, Dayton.
He had retired as a Marine engineer, was a 1940 graduate of Fort Recovery High School and served in the U.S. Army during WWII.
