Phyllis Ann Lineberry Nelson, 58, of Salem, passed away Monday, March 17, 1997 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Harbert and Annie Lineberry. She was a seamstress for many years and more recently served as a private duty nurse. She was a longtime member of the Faith Fellowship. Surviving are her husband, Maynard Guy Nelson; daughters, Rhonda G. Gibson, Roanoke, Manah A. St. Clair, Terri L. Payne, Lisa M. Craig, all of Salem; grandchildren; Jason Gunn, Nicky Aesy, Ashley Aesy, Keelynn Payne, Fallynn Payne, Lauren Guill, Distin Craig, Logan Craig, Zachary Craig; brtohers, Thomas Darrel Lineberry, Charles Dewell Lineberry, both of Galax; sisters, Euna Viars, Donna Jean Rankin, both of Galax, Rita Wooldidge, Roanoke; a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will beconducted at 11 AM Wednesday at the Simpson-Tharp Funeral Home, 4160 Peters Creek Road, by the Rev. Joseph Pentecost and the Rev. Ron Frederick. Interment will follow in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5 to 9 PM Tuesday at Simpson-Tharp Funeral Horne.
